| Avignonesi's 2003 Desiderio
(85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a plump, juicy wine
packed with plenty of candied cherries, showing excellent length as
well as balance within the context of the vintage. Like so many
2003s, it is characterized by slightly hard tannins on the finish.
Anticipated maturity: 2007-2017. |
